[edit] The Way

Things have greatly changed in my plans for my network. I will be using VMware ESX to replace all of my production servers. Anything that is trivial will be consolidated into single servers. Such as print, scanner, and backup. FreeBSD will be used much more than initially expected. Since I have actually taken the time to stop and buy some books and read I will use FreeBSD. Exchange will be used later but in the meantime I will be using Postfix (It will be used as MTA regardless), Courier IMAP and Squirlmail. I will replace Linksys routers with embedded FreeBSD (via pfSense). Backup servers will consist of FreeBSD using software raid5. I will do my best to document everything for those looking for a simpler way as I am.
